It was in the mid of June 2015, when the MARS wasterrifying every Chinese who see Koreans around, so was I. Even Iwas going to Japan instead of Korea, I still brought my medical mask, justin case.

The arrival time at Narita International Airport was14:50 local time, and it took me like 30-40mins to pass the TSA and when Ifinally sit on the NEX express train, it was 16:19 already. 

I would say NEX express train is probably the best way for most travelers (round trip price 4000 JPY!!! ) The taxi rate was extremelyhigh in Japan, so not considering it hah!

It was myfirst time visiting Japan, so my eyes were curious for everything they’d seen.I took residence in my cousin and in-law’s place in Kawasaki. The living costin here is much reasonable than Tokyo with such complete vital functionfacilities around.

While I waswaiting for my cousin in-law getting off work, I had a latte break at the J.S pancake café in the Lazona mall close by where they live and the train station too.

Lazona is achain mall in Japan; we will get back to it later.

The dinner Ihad for the first night in Japan is of course Japanese bbq 燦 燒肉屋 (for me – the meat lover)

JapaneseBBQ, they call it 燒肉. The place is tiny and cozy, typical Japanese BBQ place. 

We didn’t pick the Kobe Wagyu beef; instead I tried the second famous beef in Japan – Yamagata beef with beautiful marble patterns. When the meat turned tolight pink with full gloss on the top, you know it was about time to pleaseyour taste buds. As soon as the meat touched your tongue, it felt like it couldmelt in any seconds. A must have while enjoying Japanese BBQ is a glass ofJapanese draught beer, what a life! 

Weleft the restaurant stuffed and picked up some groceries for the breakfast tomorrow. And by the way, the best place tobuy fruits is not a GMS, but 青果屋.They always have the freshest fruits and if you making the purchase right beforeit closes, the great deal is yours. (Closing time 18:30 – 19:00)
